Civil rights, liberty and justice are not just wishy washy waffle as former Home Secretary David Blunkett suggested, instead these are what the government has a prime duty to protect. No issue is more fundamental. What ever threats and fears the state uses as an excuse for more and more draconian powers, if these values are destroyed, then the nation has not been defended at all. CHIS (Chidren's Charities' Coalition for Internet Safety) is concerned that the sentencing guidelines adopted by the Court of Appeal in R v Oliver in November 2002 are being used for purposes for which they were never intended. No link has ever been established between the level or type of images a person might possess and the likelihood of them being a continuing danger to children. Yet there is much anecdotal evidence to suggest that the police, probation and prison services, and the courts, are operating a crude rule of thumb. Someone convicted of possessing a Level 1 or Level 2 images is assumed to be a low ongoing risk to children whereas someone convicted of possessing Level 4 or Level 5 images is automatically assumed to be a high risk. The position could, in fact, be completely reversed.
OBU's initial take
By inference, the whole position could be irrelevant. OBU has empirical data that confirms it is, though it hardly takes research to establish the obvious. CP level 5 is not a step away from level 1 is not a step away from pornography is not a step away from normal (which does not exist). Welcome to the Internet, it was all there.
Actually part of the statement is quite untrue. The courts are supposed to establish the user's involvement with the imagery concerned. An offence must be scaled as sentencing has to be proportionate, that is the law.
Also noteworthy, it is John Carr himself who has been making extraordinary claims and requesting much tougher sentencing. The man is of course a financial beneficiary of his own claims.

Sir Clive Stafford Smith is renown for standing up for people for whom society has lost all care, those on the barbaric waiting list on death row in the States. It is hoped there are enough people around the world with a conscience, who will not just listen to the words of this man, but join him in his quest.
015 25/05/2005 This update is by way of news. One of the layer 1 websites, which might include this site, has been notified to the IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) by way of formal complaint. The IPCC's responsibilities include the investigation of crimes committed by senior police officers. They failed to structure themselves as promised, we have not heard good accounts of this organisation, but they now have their chance.
We are also in discussion with a family that has faced and is facing huge trauma and complete injustice at this time. One of the people concerned is in prison for a crime that never happened. It is one of thousand's of injustices that could be presented. With permission we will post the story here whilst protecting the anonymity of who it refers to.
The story concerned would leave no doubt as to the insanity of the law, the corruption of the people who wrote the law and the corruption of the people who enforce the law. If we were given consent, we would gladly put the names of all involved on this site.

Operation Ore is a matter of factual record on this site, there are strong indications this practice was widespread and further information has been provided in The Story in the Stuart Hyde section.
A reply from the IPCC was received today in response to a report of this site to them. They are not pursuing a complaint.

018 29/05/2005 It was previously reported that a formal named complaint made to the IPCC was returned without acceptance.
A specific crime and complaint report has now been formally submitted to the United Kingdom Police as at 13:15 gmt on the date stated. OBU has copy of this complaint and further details are likely to be released. At this stage, we can advise, that the complaint provided allegations of a serious criminal nature in relation to a named person.

021 01/06/2005 A second official complaint / crime report has been formally presented to the UK Police for investigation in relation to one or more additional named individuals with responsibilities for Operation Ore. Again the allegations are of a serious criminal nature and it has been made clear that further supporting evidence is available.
022 03/06/2005 A third official crime report is being checked over at this time by OBU with a view to formal presentation. It is also under discussion whether this report should be published directly to the public. Of course, the information already in the public domain provides ample information and evidence to support investigation and a genuine official investigation would yield serious criminal charges.
It has further been suggested, that a new section of this website is opened to explain simply and briefly the con trick that Operation Ore really was. This is also being considered, previously it was deemed that enough information should be provided to add weight to truth because the truth was so far at odds with the false stories that have been presented to the public. Truth is so often denied, lies covered with more lies. So we have invited viewers to see the Landslide site archived here, not the fraudulent one in files in police stations throughout the nation and shown proudly to the television cameras. We have provided some history, some comparisons, some facts. Those genuinely interested will go further.
No official response has yet been received in relation to prior allegations presented at this time, but those it has been presented to have have their chance to decide who they work for. At the very least, that question will be answered in short order.
This moment is taken to remind all why this site is here. It would not be right to reveal anyone's identity, but a contact yesterday provided an appalling story, an outrage and a humanitarian disgrace. What we have been given permission to say, is that a probation officer, with some 30 years in, broke down and cried. His statements are paraphrased as follows; 'you are victim of Operation Ore', 'your child is a victim of Operation Ore', 'how did we do this to you', 'I don't understand how you are still alive'. Not the lies in the papers, this was the true story of Operation Ore, for despite all the fraud behind it, the important part, the most important part of any worthwhile society, is the public. Of all the things the author of this update has seen and heard, this is as disgusting and moving a story as one could imagine and it has to be said, it brings shame on the United Kingdom as a whole.
If the public are given the truth, that is the best starting point for everyone, Man, Woman or Child. Not everyone will like the truth, but it is always worth its weight in gold.
Protecting the truth is a priority for this website.
023 04/06/2005 A third official crime report has been submitted in relation to one or more police officers in relation to Operation Ore. I believe in total, five names have been implicated directly in three crime reports.
024 05/06/2005 It is perhaps the last civil right on earth, the right to complain. It is a legal right in the UK, but a serving police officer made a concerted attempt to obstruct what was a complaint and crime report containing very serious allegations.
No further formal complaints are anticipated via this channel however, as sufficient names and entities have been implicated directly or indirectly for crimes and injustices to be exposed. In essence, that completes what has been delegated from OBU and further activities or announcements are likely to occur elsewhere.
025 10/06/2005 Commentary updated with an IPCC response.
Subsequent to the last update, a reply from the IPCC has been received.
With apologies, they have advised the police force with whom the complaint was registered should be in contact within three weeks, failing which, they should be contacted directly.
026 11/06/2005 A reply has been received to the first complaint, notifying it has been sent to the organisation to whom the allegations relate. What is effectively SOCA, have serious criminal allegations to investigate, when the named and referenced allegations in question relate to the high command of the same organisation.
Substantial further information has been offered, of an evidential nature, in relation to the allegations made, on the basis it was appropriate to do so. Some people have literally risked their lives, obtaining evidence of serious organised criminal activities that underpin the complaints made. It would not seem appropriate to even ask the individuals and organisations involved to present such evidence under circumstances such as these.

Some
confusion persists in relation to the response from Stephen Cahill in the
Corporate Intelligence section of South Wales Police Headquarters, referencing
two names and one complaint; bad intelligence perhaps. In relation to the
complaints served, 29/05/2005 names Jim Gamble, and 31/05/2005 names Trevor
Pearce, so it is presumed two complaints have been forwarded to NCS.
According to public records, Trevor Pearce, named in the second complaint, chairs the Security and Professional Standards committee of the National Crime Squad, also Operation Ore was explicitly brought into question, so it is unclear to whom in NCS these matters could have been legitimately referred.
At the time of the reply, SWP were in possession of a third complaint, which also references websites providing additional information of relevance to the allegations and additional names relating to NCS are referenced.
As an aside, in relation to a different matter, a complaint was filed with SWP by the same person. The complaint was upheld (discharged by the complainant as the point had been made), though an arrest of the complainant under Operation Ore occurred a couple of days later.
For the purposes of absolute clarity, it is important to explain what happened here, as the issues covered by this website are far from trivial. Quite a number of people are dead and that was not an accident.
If the police believed you had committed a very serious crime, would they ask you to investigate it? Well, ACC Stephen Cahill appears to have done just that. As the IPCC have been aware of these complaints, and some related issues, their integrity is also serious in question.
Barbara Wilding QPM, Chief Constable of South Wales Police, was contacted previously in relation to Operation Ore. She chose not to make herself available for discussion. In view of the overall pattern of behaviour, no further action is planned in relation to SWP at this time.

South Wales Police corruption
A very concerted attempt was made to obstruct the presentation of the third complaint (here). These complaints reference serious offences, combined representing allegations of serious organised crime.
Additional supporting evidence has been offered to support a genuine investigation of the complaints, and various websites have been referenced.
It was believed that South Wales Police had perhaps three choices.
- To extricate themselves from these issues (The IPCC had
already been advised).
- To support justice, uphold the law and serve the public interest.
- To implicate themselves in the crime of the century.
The allegations against NCS, the headstone of SOCA, brought into question the integrity of this unit as a whole. The criminal nature of Operation Ore is already a matter of public record, and those named in the allegations and various websites, have played a unique hands on role in perverting the course of justice.
The fact that South Wales Police would have chosen to implicate themselves in relation to criminal activity on such a scale and nature, by sending the complaints to NCS, accords them a unique place in the history of the UK.
The stated mission of these websites, is the truth and the due consequences of the truth. So much of the truth is already out there.
029 14/06/2005 Although other news is emerging elsewhere on the Internet, feedback of the NCS investigation into complaints against NCS is due, though what can one seriously expect from such an absurd situation? Senior officials at the top of what is effectively SOCA have allegations against them of some of the most serious charges in UK law, carrying no limit on fine or sentence and these allegations were made in good faith. They are hardly likely to throw their own into jail or onto the streets as they did with Orees. We list some of their options.

- attack the messengers and the messages
- ignore the complaint / crime reports submitted
For what these people have already done, little can be ruled out. Most precious of their possessions are the lies they have told, and we do expect them to defend them.
030 19/06/2005 Further news is pending to this site. Due to other commitments and issues, this may be delayed though some updates have already been made to various sections.
031 20/06/2005 A further confirmation has been received from South Wales Police. It is believed this relates to the third complaint / crime report, and that therefore, this police force has no further involvement at this time.
The reply can be viewed here. It should be noted, individuals and groups who have worked on addressing these issues are peered or entirely independent and it is unknown at this time where the next activity be initiated, actioned or reported on.
032 21/06/2005 An email has been sent to Andrew Mulholland at NCS in relation to the documentation forwarded to him from South Wales Police as follows;
I understand complaints / crime reports have been forwarded to you by ACC Cahill of the South Wales Police.
I would be grateful if you could confirm receipt of this email, advise on receipt of the aforementioned documentation from South Wales Police and provide a contact name and number for who will be dealing with this matter.
In view of the serious nature of the allegations and the ranks of the officers referenced, it is of course extraordinary for a lower rank within the same organisation to have received this documentation.

Confirmation of receipt of the complaints / crime reports 1 & 2, has now been received. The letter from Andrew Mulholland, clerk to the service authority, can be viewed here.
The allegations directly name two very senior officers within NCS, the headstone of SOCA. Quite why South Wales Police should route the complaints as they have is something only they can answer. We can however inform, that the authority in receipt of these complaints has visited these websites.
The location of the third complaint is unknown. This included a senior police officer from West Midlands Police. The letter from South Wales police was ambiguous and only mentioned two complaints when three were delivered and receipted.
The letter from Andrew Mulholland arrived 23/06/2005, a week after it was franked.

PC PRO REVEALS FALSE CLAIMS USED IN CHILD PORN INVESTIGATION
Tuesday, June 21, 2005: The UK’s biggest ever crackdown on Internet paedophiles
has been driven by misleading intelligence, causing dozens of innocent people to
be falsely accused, according to PC Pro magazine.
Writing exclusively in the new issue of PC Pro, Duncan Campbell (an expert
witness in the defence of Operation Ore suspects) says prosecutions against many
of the UK’s 7,272 Operation Ore suspects were based on flawed evidence received
from US officials.
The high-profile investigation began in 2002 when US investigators handed UK
police the credit card details of people they claimed had subscribed to child
porn. But Campbell says the list also included people who subscribed to legal
sites, leading to prosecutions against computer users who had never possessed an
offending picture.
“The most critical computer evidence produced in Operation Ore, I have found,
was flawed,” says Campbell. “The mistakes meant huge quantities of police,
technical and social work resources were misdirected to some futile and
ill-founded investigations. But the worse result was damage to innocent lives,
and the welfare of families and children.”
Some prosecutions have centred on what’s been claimed in court to be the front
page of an adult website which prosecutors said was dominated by a direct link
to child pornography.
But new evidence revealed in PC Pro shows that many subscribers could not have
seen the page, while US investigators had only seen the link to the child
pornography on one occasion.
The report also criticises the media witch-hunt that’s increased the pressure on
UK police to get results against huge numbers of British
computer users.
“Until now, Operation Ore has been widely publicised as an indisputable
breakthrough in the fight against child porn, but the computer evidence is
flawed,’ says Paul Trotter, news and features editor of PC Pro.
“Computer forensics shows that the illegal websites could not be reached from
the front page of the legal websites many people subscribed to, and this puts
question marks over a number of prosecutions.”

Articles in the Sunday Times 26/06/2005 and PC PRO 08/2005 represent a landslide.
As the nation slept and the Times rolled off the press last night, an iceberg was melting.
By this morning:
'thus the crucial "child porn" button was a myth'
A number of people who have tried to recover justice and sense in the UK and US, have been aggressively targeted by LEA's and their partners of convenience. Considerable evidence of this activity has been securely archived, however, stories continue to unfold in public.
Bill Hughes, director general of SOCA, which embraces all the controlling police agencies involved in Operation Ore, complained about inaccurate reporting in the media. Some of those inaccuracies have now been addressed.
035 27/06/2005 The dramatic exposures in the media over the last few days speak for themselves.
Following the failure of a previous FOI to NCS concerning the death count, a new FOI has been sent today. Operation Ore can only be judged as a whole, and the death toll is not just a statistic, these were the lives of British subjects.
036 28/06/2005 Communications regarding the named officer in charge of two of the complaints / crime reports have been received. Due to ambiguous or missing communications from South Wales Police, it is not known at this time what happened to the third report. As it happens, Barbara Wilding, Chief Constable of South Wales Police, was approached long ago with a view to discussing dangerous flaws in relation to Operation Ore and similar investigations. She did not respond, and one of her officers tried to prevent the third crime report being recorded at all.
After three years of Operation Ore, and countless operations predicated on this, dramatic exposures have been released to the general media by an independent expert. This has brought to light secrets that have been hidden from the government, the courts and most importantly, for it should be their nation; the public.
Vast sums of money were obtained on the back of a series of orchestrated lies, leading to a transformation in the role and powers of the police and the state in public life, the laws of the land, the abandonment of the presumption of innocence, the corruption of public morals and justice itself.
We have no idea how many people pleaded guilty to simply avoid the indignity of a sham of a trial when such condemning evidence had already been presented to the public through the media, false evidence. If charges were brought, no matter guilt or innocence, pleading guilty was typical advice to avoid the risk of the full fury of Operation Ore.
Perspective is always important, and it brings in issues much broader and more important than what is found on a computer hard disk. The bigger picture is always the most important. In Operation Ore, well over 20,000 people had their rights violated and lives blighted. These rights and freedoms were fought for through the courage and sacrifices of nearly a whole generation.
To quote a former prime minister.
We were prepared to negotiate before but not now. We have lost a lot of blood, and it's the best blood.
Precious though the lives of children are, that is certainly no excuse to abandon the society they will inherit. It is perhaps the greatest gift we can offer them.
Whatever laws and agencies exist to protect the public, that is the opposite of what has been done. To entrust regimes such as this with ID cards, SOCA, soft intelligence, and no genuine means of redress, the future is even bleaker.
The first priority is to protect the truth, for only then can there be meaningful debate. The truth is emerging in the public domain and we too, turn our attention to the general media and the unfolding news at this time.
037 28/06/2005 pm The missing third complaint has turned up at the NCS service authority having been sent there by South Wales Police. The allegations relate to ACC Stuart Hyde, West Midlands Police and we are advised the documentation will be forwarded as appropriate.
It is perhaps now the turn for others to speak. The most important people in any nation, are the public. Once they have the truth, they have that chance. One of the roles of this site, has been to speak for those who have not found it easy or even possible to do so.
Attempts have been made over two years, to bring exposure to Operation Ore through the general media. The media of course, were quite happy with the stories they had. In one known Oree case, a reporter falsely testified against the accused, just for the story.
This story began on the Internet, perhaps as early as 1997, when an American nurse had a dream. The Internet has been blamed for many things, but overall, it is the biggest gift to mankind since it came to be, it unites people, bringing the whole world into people's homes. Above all, its strength is in the fact no one owns it. Whoever you are, it is yours.
We have been advised that Operation Ore is still ongoing at this time despite dramatic disclosures by an independent investigator in the media. The police have pledged to pursue Operation Ore to the bitter end.
038 30/06/2005 More news, as defence experts start to piece together the bigger story, a landslide is in progress.
Jim Bates, another independent computer forensics expert, has made his own response to the recent disclosures. In broad terms, his words are concurrent with what is on this site by way of explanation for it all. Nice office jobs, huge amounts of money, but to get away with it, the police had to produce as many busts as possible.
An FOI made elsewhere disclosed that no investigations were keyz only for the area in question. That was not just suspicious, as most of Landslide sites were pretty crappy and far better sites were to be found. Either the Landslide data was being misread, accidentally or otherwise, or the fraud was massive.
Some of the chained 'pop-up on close' on normal adult websites connected to Landslide, contained cp adverts and people were prosecuted for such events, no matter the fact they hadn't caused them. This is the typical pattern for a scam site, and for such scams, extreme material is often deposited to embarrass the user so they don't complain.
Some people have talked about police mistakes and incompetence. Jim Bates agrees that this went way beyond that. Some police knew, and without the busts, they would never have gotten away with it. They went bezerk prosecuting innocent people, persecuting people so they couldn't fight back, and hyping the whole thing up, pretending those that weren't prosecuted had got away with it and those that were, were a serious threat to children.
The problem for forensic experts, is that none of them got to see all the data, just the cases that came their way. Many saw anomalies, images appearing in police custody, strange transactions that contradicted the assertions of the police evidence. Of course the police could have opened up the data to examination. Their comments that the data was too sensitive could easily have been resolved (though many police leaked it with a relish). The personal information could have been replaced with a cross reference, whilst otherwise preserving the forensic integrity.
Regardless, defence forensic experts knew something was wrong, many Orees knew all too well, but the police had the evidence the defence experts needed to prove it and they weren't letting people analyse it. Now, the whole show is not just in question, a substantial amount of truth is out.
The expert witness has been one of the huge causes of miscarriages of justice in recent times. Prosecution experts are paid by the police, and they are under considerable pressure to say what the police would like them to. Sometimes they tell outright lies, and the person writing this has witnessed that happen in the courtroom when acting as a friend to the court. Sometimes those that don't lie are simply not employed again.
It has to be said, two computer forensic experts have now made substantial contributions towards bringing the largest miscarriage of justice this century to light and there are thousands of people who will be deeply grateful for what they have done. One of the large forensic companies, Vogon, had been highly critical of the police and were reportedly destroying 60% of the cases by investigating them properly, i.e. not just what was on the computer, but how it got there. Vogon came unstuck by submitting a huge bill for work done, and they were successfully sued by the police. Since that time they have joined the chorus of money seekers, campaigning for the police to have more money, knowing they stand to take a share in it.
If the police had investigated what the evidence meant in the first place, instead of bullying credit card companies and isp's to trace details, none of this needed to happen. As all the articles clearly point out, the police did know more than enough truth to halt the entire operation. Instead, they suddenly classified everyone on the list as dangerous, and broke them down into categories depending on their responsibilities and access to children.
The police knew, as did many of their partners of convenience, like the NSPCC. The deaths were no accident and a lot of blood has been spilled in this. They set out by intent, to pervert justice and destroy lives, preventing anyone challenging them.
The police IT spend in general is estimated at £750 million a year. That will look very small when the true cost of Operation Ore comes home.
Meadows law may have been found to be flawed (one death a tragedy, two suspicious, three murder), but the police knew and sought to conceal the truth, to conceal the true body count (today they should have received a second FOI trying to obtain this answer), and no one can say these deaths were an accident, not anyone who knew what was really going on.
DS Graham Shaw of West Yorkshire Police said back in 2004 'These were just one lot of people who felt safe enough to register their credit card details.'
Of course, as readers of the Sunday Times, this and other websites will know, most of them did feel safe. Why shouldn't they feel safe accessing an adult website? The only threat to them was the police and it was a lethal threat. DS Graham Shaw went on to say 'the 11 officers involved were offered counselling.'
People were assaulted on mass by the police as part of Operation Ore by design. Dead bodies piling up, the lives of men, women and children scarred for life, and the police were offered counselling? Learning to tell the truth, to abide by the law, and protect and serve the public would seem to be a more appropriate form of remedial therapy, though criminal sanction would of course be due process. Most Orees would wonder what due process is worth, when an accusation is so often enough to convict.
As was mentioned in the public disclosures, quite a number of people were charged with incitement when they did not have any illegal images, and the most compelling evidence that was used has been shown to be fraudulent. This bogus evidence is what compelled many people to plead guilty rather than face a sham of a trial or to take their own lives.
It leaves us to wonder, is there a competent and honest senior police officer in the United Kingdom involved in Operation Ore? If there is, they have not spoken to the public so that juries in the courts know the truth, not the lies that they have been told.
There is quite enough torture going on in other parts of the world, but people are being tortured to death here in the UK. As a point of law, it is illegal, as a point of humanity, it is depraved.
What was perhaps a mistake on the police's part, was not noticing what the change in caution might mean to them one day. The police are visitors to this site and we have a question for those that are involved in Operation Ore, after what they have done, and for what they have tried to conceal.
Why are you killing people for an orchestrated series of lies?
'You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.'

039 02/07/2005 An FOI was sent to what is effectively SOCA on 26/06/2005 in a second attempt to establish one of the most important statistics, the number of people that have been killed by Operation Ore. As death certificates were not recorded correctly, the death tally rather than the number of suicides has been requested.
We are not expecting the FOI request to be fulfilled.
040 03/07/2005 Again, while the nation slept, the landslide so many shattered lives and families were waiting for, the real landslide, appeared in print. The Sunday Times today, delivers a mortal blow to Operation Ore.
SOCA, not even officially in operation, has been caught in the crime of the century. Operation Ore constituted Serious Organised Crime. Any police officer working in Operation Ore, or any operation of this type, is also a potential suspect at this time. Considerable information has yet to be revealed to the public, indeed the difficulty has been exposing the truth. The Sunday Times today has been the second media outlet to break the mould and has dealt a mortal blow against those who have perpetrated some of the most monstrous crimes, all hidden behind a cloak of secrecy, unaccountable power and bad law.

Also, in the Sunday Times 03/07/2005, is a letter from Jim Gamble, deputy directory general of the National Crime Squad (the headstone of SOCA). A totally remarkable statement to those that know the true nature of Operation Ore.
It includes:

An Internet support forum, which formed the largest research base for what was really going on in these operations, was targeted by SOCA and a number of their partners. As a consequence of those attacks, it was temporarily taken down and its webmaster mysteriously recalled to prison. The webmaster had been given a final warning out of the blue, and told to report to discuss the issue two days later. All he did the next day was sign on to the discussion board when he was arrested and recalled to prison by the Home Office. Were it not for that discussion board, these truths may never have come to light as it put together so much of the database that the police have tried to protect against any independent scrutiny. Were it not for the humanitarian support the webmaster gave, indeed he had devoted most of his life to the task, the death count would be significantly higher than it has been.
The information released to the public thus far, is only a hint of the truth. The full scale and nature of crimes committed by SOCA and regional police forces throughout the United Kingdom and other agencies, has yet to be exposed. That is ignoring what has gone on in the United States, and exposures in that regard are well prepared and may follow.
In view of the scale and nature of the crimes that were committed, the length of time over which this offending behaviour occurred, the difficulty in raising complaints / crime reports via the IPCC and South Wales Police and the general state of justice in the United Kingdom at this time as a whole, we feel it appropriate to present a letter from this website directly to the Prime Minister, Tony Blair.

Tony Blair This public letter is regarding issues of considerable importance and urgency though you are no doubt already aware of a recent article in the Sunday Times (26/06/2005) and more recently today (03/07/2005) concerning Operation Ore. It is a matter of public record, that the government were lied to, by what is effectively scheduled to officially become SOCA. The article, and a prior article in PC PRO, serve to help expose to the public, some of the lies and fraud in relation to Operation Ore, perpetrated by foreign agencies, SOCA, Police Forces throughout the United Kingdom, the CPS and Courts throughout the land. Of considerable significance from the issues raised so far, was the damning evidence supplied in pre-trial and ongoing publicity, and how this contrasted with the truth. Normally, one would not expect trials to proceed when such contaminating publicity had occurred, and as the articles point out, this evidence was fraudulent, known to be so, and caused guilty pleas and verdicts to be achieved on the basis of allegations alone, if not death. Justice was not simply badly served, in many instances it was abandoned altogether. Landslide was a payment gateway to websites, primarily of an adult nature. There was in general nothing remotely incriminating about credit card transactions relating to this site, and as only a fraction of 1% of the sites were of an illicit nature, in normal circumstances there would not be lawful grounds to arrest or search people on mass, and never during your time in office have there been grounds to do what was really done. In common with many websites of this kind, the predominant issue of a criminal nature in relation to Landslide was credit card fraud. Although Internet derived credit card fraud is not an issue that the UK police have taken a serious general interest in, they were aware of significant issues in this regard in relation to Landslide from the outset. By design, textbook military psychological warfare techniques were used in Operation Ore, to break or kill the accused. In stark contrast to when 3 police officers arrested an alleged terrorist; many Operation Ore arrests were conducted by large teams of invading officers and were generally designed for maximum impact. It went further, and families were hounded and persecuted to destruction, often based solely on an allegation. As a consequence of false information being continuously fed to the media and the courts of this land, and other hostile practices beyond the scope of this document, the men, women and children of this nation were killed or scarred for life, and by the very agencies employed with a primary role of protecting them. Following research by independent and peered public and covert investigators, serious criminal activity by nature and scale were uncovered in relation to agencies of the state, especially SOCA and Police Forces UK wide. Further information may emerge or be placed before the public in this regard, however, the prime imperative at this stage is to urgently address these atrocities and bring help and protection to the victims. The circumstances in relation to Operation Ore, and other operations predicated on this, have been further aggravated by the introduction of bad law, particularly the Sex Offences Act 2003 introduced by David Blunkett, which runs contrary to the requirements of the Human Rights Act. These laws have allowed people to be convicted on the basis of allegations alone, and such disregard for justice has led to substantial numbers of people contacting various victim groups following convictions, in many instances, for crimes that never even happened. Sexual Offences Prevention Orders, ASBOS and other devices which created guilt without even having a trial, were things the public were never told the truth of, including that these laws were designed to remove the authority of the courts, provide arbitrary powers to the police, and to remove justice from the Oxford dictionary. To paraphrase Lord Hoffman; there can be no greater threat to this nation than bad laws such as these. It is already evidenced by what various investigators have uncovered, and it is entirely appropriate to mention, that laws passed or proposed by the previous or present home secretary, represent a greater material threat to this nation than any known terrorist organisation in the world. As police forces are on negative performance related pay, i.e. the incentives run counter to the interests of justice, there is a serious corrosive element implicit within the system of policing the United Kingdom, bringing injustice on mass and shame on the diligent professional police officers who do actually work for the good of society as a whole. A pertinent resignation from Merseyside police was disclosed in the Sunday Times today. Police officers of integrity should be running the service, not resigning in disgust. These issues are already evidenced in the courts, and private research into just one prison wing finding a ridiculous percentage of the people falsely convicted. People had contacted a public discussion board providing support to victims of Operation Ore, requesting help because people were in prison for crimes as serious as rape, when no such crime had even taken place. In Operation Ore, people were quite literally tortured to death, such conduct forming a hideous violation of the law. It is therefore an issue of significant public and humanitarian interest in relation to Operation Ore, that the number of people killed by this operation are obtained as accurately as possible. A second FOI request has been sent to NCS in an attempt to calculate this figure and it would be in the public interest for the government to intervene so that this request is fulfilled accurately and with haste. These illicit activities and operations have had the most catastrophic effect on the lives of the men, women and children of this nation, with very serious consequences for the future wellbeing of the public in general. In relation to Operation Ore and other operations of a similar nature, such is the carnage; it is appropriate to quote from a former prime minister: We were prepared to negotiate before but not now. We have lost a lot of blood, and it’s the best blood. Whilst the United Kingdom has assisted and incited torture by foreign agencies, to find this conduct being perpetrated on British soil is an issue so grave, these issues are in need of urgent remedy. As the government itself has taken rights and freedoms from the people that a whole generation risked their lives to achieve, this is no longer just an issue for government. Having a police unit with arbitrary powers and no true accountability, as is the case with SOCA, is not just a threat to this nation, that threat has already materialised and is evidenced in Operation Ore. The public are now being told some of the truth in relation to what happened. No issue could be more grave or serious, than when the state acts maliciously against its own people. Those people have been waiting a long time for justice, many had lost hope, and many did not survive. These issues are so serious, so urgent; they cannot be answered by words or false remedy. Immediate action is required and such action must this time be on public display and with full public accountability and participation. Anything less is a continuation and protection of the environment that has created these lies and allowed these corrupt practices to flourish. The prime role of the Prime Minister is to protect the Queen’s subjects; indeed it is a contractual obligation to do so. That is the opposite of what has happened, and the families who are being tortured in this nation have a right and urgent need to know your position on the issues raised as a consequence of exposures relating to the true nature of Operation Ore. Many of the researchers involved in Operation Ore, have chosen to remain anonymous. We would therefore request, a response is made to any website publishing this letter which is affiliated to OBU. If the response is genuine, we would be grateful to receive communications as a matter of urgency, providing an immediate opportunity for a government minister to meet with an OBU delegate, with a view to agreeing solutions to urgent problems, and the way forward. Over recent days, some of the true story of Operation Ore has started to emerge after PC Pro first broke the ice. A detailed report by Duncan Campbell, an expert in computer forensics, was seemingly an extensive technical take on the details on which the operation was based. Technical it was, but the devil was destroyed in the detail. The most fundamental of the prosecution evidence, that the police and prosecution had so proudly presented to the television crews and courts throughout the land, was evidentially destroyed.
The Sunday Times 'news review' immediately picked up the story, with further dramatic exposures. The stories of Landslide and Orees that had been pounded out through the media and elsewhere for months, indeed years on end, re-enforced by police statements from Stuart Hyde, Jim Gamble, Bill Hughes, Carole Howlett, Sharon Girling and so many other police officers, were suddenly just that, stories.
Jim Gamble wrote back to the Sunday Times. The police officer who asked people to trust him, trust him because he was a police officer, trumpeted off a series of lies as if the article had never been. But that Sunday Times also carried a new article by another computer forensic expert by the name of Jim Bates. Not only lending credit to the first, the carefully orchestrated police statements were dealt a further killer blow.
As so often the case, the UK likes to keep its secrets from the public, even though so much of the world knew and talked openly about what was going on here in either disbelief or amusement. Lies told to the UK public, the courts, the juries, were such large lies, it was as if no one dared challenge them. PC Pro, Sunday Times, Sunday times, three strikes and they were out, and less than 24 hours later, the stories had been picked up from the US through to Australia.
Within some of that reporting, the human cost of this operation also made a showing. Lies can kill people, and they did, and the numbers presented to the public, are not the true ones. There are more secrets they would rather you did not know.
Whilst Andrew Mulholland and Julian Norris consult their lawyers as to whether to investigate the crime reports submitted, two independent forensic experts have provided the most damming supporting evidence one could imagine in the national media.
Yet here at home in the UK, Monday morning and the news is quiet. No question, the crime of the century is there in print in the most formidable newspaper this nation has.
The marketing weapon used, was that this was about child abuse. A reminder of what Jim Gamble said in 2004:

"What we need now is greater resilience and more funding for this type of policing activity."
A photocopy of a web page was shown in police interviews, fronted the Operation Ore manual, paraded in front of the media and worst of all, shown around the courts. That is now against the backdrop of what has been published in PC PRO and the Sunday Times, the story these people didn't want you to know. The stories Jim Gamble told were not arrived at by accident, nor was the money or the promotion.
042 05/07/2005 news today is principally in the form of outstanding issues.
An urgent email to the people responsible for investigating the crime reports in relation to senior NCS operatives remains unanswered at this time.
An FOI to NCS, the principle SOCA squad, requesting details on the death count, remains unconfirmed and unanswered. We do not expect this status to change. We have multi-source evidence that the suicide figures were fabricated, meaningless, and the requests for the death count would therefore establish a true figure. This is a secret that SOCA will not want in the public domain.
A crime report relating to West Midlands Police has not even been confirmed.
Today, the Prime Minister is formally advised. The letter included a request to contact OBU directly. Their position in relation to the issues raised is determined in short order, the letter has a closing date of 08/07/2005. The issues raised relate to the prime duty of the office of Prime Minister, and therefore supersede G8.
Further damming information of an evidential nature in relation to SOCA arrived today. We are not authorised by OBU to disclose at this time, though we are advised this information has been widely disseminated and disclosures will be made.
We take this opportunity of thanking PC PRO, The Sunday Times, and the independent experts, for presenting evidential exposure of Operation Ore to the public. It is perhaps the saddest indictment of our times here in the UK, that media publications are worthy of such praise, simply for presenting the truth.
043 06/07/2005 The original article in PC PRO by independent expert, Duncan Campbell, that evidentially removed the very ground that NCS (SOCA) based the whole Operation Ore story on, has been on the high street shelves for some two weeks now (available until 23/07/2005). The false evidence was an issue known to the police. Not one single challenge has been raised to the report, so Operation Ore is floating now just on the hype served up by the police, the cps and other partners in the food chain.
Two reports in the Times later, the CPS disclosed serious problems in the evidence supplied by Brian Underhill, traffic police officer turned prosecution expert, in some 600 Ore cases. Brian Underhill was director of Celt Limited, the very company that analysed the Landslide data with the police, and base for a number of other prosecution experts. Brian Underhill and his co-director, Nicholas Webber, have claimed to have worked on well over a thousand cases, the very two people who went to the States with Sharon Girling OBE to collect the evidence from USPIS.
Other smaller reports appearing elsewhere on the Internet are bringing to light, more and more examples where it is clear that people had this material on their computers, but there was no evidence to suggest the user was responsible for it being there. By and large, what is on people's computers is what is on the Internet, and the software that was used often played a big part in what the attendant risks were.
BT stated recently that adult diallers it new about were at the rate of 300 a day. These are typically inserted maliciously, but the trail of sites visited are often extreme to embarrass the user into not complaining. The police have known about the issue for years, but it hasn't stopped them prosecuting people who have picked up illicit material through malicious software of this kind.
People that pleaded guilty, were typically advised to by their solicitors against the back of drop of continuous public disclosures by the police, most noticeable of which was a click here for child porn link. After Duncan Campbell's report, this evidence simply didn't exist anymore.
Indeed, such was the intentionally hostile nature of these investigations, (an issue which is yet to be brought to the public at large), many people were forced to plead guilty or to attempt to take their own lives as the task of clearing their names seemed impossible. Which begs the question, not how many convictions are unsafe, what safety is there in any of them?
With so many lies having been told by the most senior police officers in the nation, including APCO's own spokesperson, were any of the prosecutions even lawful?
As is covered elsewhere on this site, when questioned on Operation Ore, the Prime Minister said he doesn't discuss ongoing police operations. I don't think that answer really suffices any more. If the Prime Minister is protecting any secrets, the public can buy them at W H Smiths. If access to the Landslide data by an independent expert is continuously blocked on bogus grounds, it might not be long before this incriminates the Prime Minister himself, and we are reliably informed, that a number of people have sent the letter to him published on this and other sites.
The latest Times report included an extract from a letter from Jim Gamble, Deputy Director General, National Crime Squad, or more succinctly, the Ore man. His letter concluded:

As his ultimate boss, the head of SOCA, Bill Hughes was also heavily involved in Operation Ore, really it is the Prime Minister who needs to answer some questions. What he could possibly say after the amount of further money the Government have pledged to these operations, and the cost or Ore is mounting every day. As more and more evidence is released, the more malicious these investigations clearly were.

044 07/07/2005 Jim Bates, an independent forensic expert, has responded to the Jim Gamble letter in The Sunday Times by a report on his own website.

Jim Gamble, previously from Special Branch, is now Deputy Director General of NCS, the principal SOCA police unit.
Despite the evidential nature of public exposures relating to serious organise crime in relation to Operation Ore, the content of Mr Gamble's letter to the Sunday Times provided clear evidence his offending behaviour is continuing unabated. Behaviour such as this constitutes a material risk to the public at large. Indeed, if the allegations in a crime report against this man are upheld, he has the blood of UK citizens on his hands.
As a consequence of this letter by Jim Gamble, which contained further attempts to deceive the public, a further communication was sent to the service authority of NCS. These people are in the same building as NCS and one of the crime reports in their possession contains serious criminal allegations relating to the conduct of Jim Gamble. The communication sought to ensure, that all those involved in handling the crime report are aware of the material risk this man poses to the public at large.
This was followed up yesterday with a phone call to Julian Norris. The best verbal response given, was that a letter would be sent in reply in due course, probably by Andrew Mulholland, who is currently on holiday. The person concerned was advised that this was an issue of national importance and the safety of the public at large was a serious concern. Such issues formed the basis of the crime report, and are supported by evidential disclosures in PC Pro and The Sunday Times in two successive weeks. Julian Norris simply re-iterated that a letter would be sent in reply in due course.
You would think if a crime report was made, relating to issues of such gravity, with the offer of further supporting evidence, relating to public safety including death, they would send an investigating officer round as a matter of urgency, rather than hiring a lawyer to see if an investigation was appropriate.
This is not the only high ranking police officer from NCS who is subject to a crime report. In relation to Operation Ore, Jim Gamble has had a hands on role, and has taken numerous media opportunities to expound incriminating information that is at materially at odds with the truth.
Only recently, to the fury of a support group, a pregnant woman was rushed to hospital due to the real nature of how these investigations are conducted. The details of the case in question would itself be a damming indictment of Jim Gamble. In order to protect the anonymity of the people involved, we cannot make further disclosure about the horrific nature of what has been done, but the police role in this falls way outside of criminal law and this is far from an isolated case. This is an additional crime that sits in his name, and the child concerned remains at risk at this time.
045 07/07/2005 update We lend our thoughts and concern to all the victims of the unfolding catastrophe in London. For those who have lost their lives and suffered through these events, we all share in that loss and our hearts go out to those in need and those who help them.
It is notable, the secrecy and deception behind Operation Ore, allowed an even greater loss of lives than this multi-point attack on London, and to this day, NCS refuse even to disclose the number of dead despite the fraudulent nature of this operation being evidenced in the media.
It is our view, even while passions are raised, that the first and most important step in reducing such threats to the freedoms and safety of the nation, is to tell the truth, to tell it all and to tell it to all.
Less we make the mistakes of 09/11, it is right that we make peace with those that seek it in the world, and that where possible, we make peace with our enemies. The carnage evidenced on our streets, the liberties and rights hard fought for and so quickly surrendered, are issues of prime importance to this nation as a whole.
The mission statement on this website is the truth, and the consequences of the truth. It is time for all people to know what is going on in Afghanistan, Iraq, the United Kingdom and elsewhere, as is also the case with Operation Ore. If we torture and kill people, we have no right whatsoever to judge others. Such actions create danger and defend nothing, and we ask for a free press and for the truth to be told.
According to the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, the justification for the illegal war against Iraq was because Saddam Hussein was a very unpleasant person and the world was better off without him. By his words, some 100,000 people are dead, countless tortured with his sanction, for a grievance with one man, and now that carnage spreads to the streets of London. Saddam Hussein was not responsible for this.
The freedoms and rights in the United Kingdom, have never been so under threat since Adolf Hitler, freedoms and rights that Tony Blair has abandoned with relish. This has been done in the name of security, the opposite of what has been achieved. In respect to the history and more importantly the destiny of the United Kingdom, the rights, freedoms and justice this nation has enjoyed for a generation, and were so hard fought for, must be re-instated, or there is nothing to defend.

046 09/07/2005 Jim Gamble at NCS (National Crime Squad) has not commented directly on the challenges raised in the carefully researched PC Pro article that broke the ice, taking with it the legitimacy of Operation Ore and so many that are involved with it. As the report was of a damming and evidential nature, we are more expecting the sinister nature of this organisation to make a showing.
A whole Internet Safety Centre is being built predicated on Operation Ore, the laws were changed based on the story of Ore, countless millions have been spent, and those involved in Operation Ore are to head up SOCA, the new Serious Organised Crime Agency.
The police officers involved have so much unfettered power, they clearly never thought such large lies would ever be challenged, let alone the truth get out to the public. They have influence with the home office and very strong partnerships with some of the newspapers like the News of the World and the Mirror, but PC Pro and The Sunday Times must have escaped them.

Ripple effects have continued following the public disclosures. We have been advised that NCS, the headstone of SOCA, have been busy trying not only to limit the damage, but to counter attack and Operation Ore remains ongoing at this time. One of the ripple affects has also been a steady stream of information to the various international monitoring and research stations, and evidence continues to build.
Whilst the UK particularly, is expert at protecting its secrets, even when the rest of the world is widely informed, too much information has been released or collected for these secrets to remain untold.
The last truths likely to be revealed, are the human misery, death and destruction wreaked by this illicit operation, and already we have similar reports on other operations predicated on Operation Ore. Many of the researchers have been deeply traumatised by the stories of what men, women and children have been subjected to and it is accurate though no doubt contentious to say, that the death and destruction far out measures that caused by the recent revenge attacks in London.
When crime reports are put on television, it often creates a false impression of danger, as most extreme crimes are rare, fear of crime encourages crime and contrary to public perception and tabloid propaganda, the prison population is at an all time high. Unfortunately, that position is different with Operation Ore and other operations conducted by the same people, and potentially, every man, woman and child in the United Kingdom is at risk at this time.
Included in the recent disclosures were admissions by the CPS themselves in relation to the reliability of the most prolific prosecution expert, a former traffic police officer, putting in question 600 cases. Brian Underhill and his partner Nicholas Webber are believed to have been involved in 1,022 cases and there are other people in their company that provided evidence. Their company, Celt Limited, collected and worked on the Landslide archives and no one else has been allowed access to it. That and other disclosures, including disclosures of an evidential nature, end the legitimacy of Operation Ore itself, incriminate a large number of operatives that fall within the umbrella of SOCA, and regional police forces were made aware of fundamental flaws a long time ago yet seemed to have ignored them. Even the silence is evidential.
We ask you, regardless of your role in life, to examine your consciences. If you have read this site, you should have some very serious questions to ask at least, even if you have played a part in this. Every day these atrocities continue, the consequences are worse. Meantime, history continues to record these events, and what part each person played in them.
For those who want to research the crimes involved in Operation Ore beyond what has been told on this site, our advice to you, is just follow the money.
048 13/07/2005 The public exposures relating to the fraudulent nature of Operation Ore, have been picked up by the adult industry and some adult sites are covering the issues online. It is particularly appropriate for the story to appear in such a context. Overall, contrary to what the public were told in a series of carefully orchestrated lies, the vast majority of people targeted in Operation Ore were simply adult surfers and / or victims of credit card fraud. With perhaps 18 dedicated illicit sites out of an estimated 5,700, you don't have to be a mathematician to work out what was done. According to police, everyone was a suspect, all 7,272 names. Jim Gamble, the principle architect of most of Operation Ore, recently promoted to Deputy Director General or NCS, went far further. Most of the traceable names on the list were hit with the full fury of Ore, despite the fact, the evidence told a different story.
Some of the founding lies have been removed evidentially and exposed in a PC Pro article. For example, the infamous click here page that was being shown around the court rooms, and in the press, despite the truth being known by the police.
As an aside, the public at large have recently been reporting high levels of illicit material appearing during peer to peer downloads. Peer to peer software has many enemies, as music is often downloaded for free for example. Peer to peer is being monitored by the police, creating quite a danger to the public at large, indeed the law is now framed to incriminate the innocent, despite the fact this is at odds with the superior law enshrined in the Human Rights Act. In Operation Ore, people were prosecuted if material was found regardless of how it got there. Numerous movements of material have been traced back to the FBI, however, previous investigative work undertaken by OBU did not include peer to peer.
Many people convicted under Operation Ore had incidental downloads received from news groups and peer to peer. The police story was that although Landslide images were not being found, the users had been downloading it again. A strange statement if you know anything about computer forensics. Whether that actually happened at all is unknown to us, but many users who had received material of this kind through no fault of their own, are none too happy about the evidence used in the courtroom to convict them, with the endorsement of WDC Sharon Girling OBE, telling the court what they had seen and done when they knew this was not true.
The lies told and truths concealed by the police relied on getting convictions in the courts and ridiculous cases were prosecuted successfully. The results of some police forces are statistically alarming. Unfortunately for NCS and police forces throughout the UK, a public archive was trawling the Internet, capturing websites around the world as a public archive. This was a read only archive, the websites on view there were therefore evidential. The information available there told a different story to the ones being trumpeted by the architects of Operation Ore.
Whatever attempts are made to marginalise, ignore or counter the disclosures, if the police lied about the most damming evidence of all, what does this mean for Operation Ore as a whole, the police service as a whole and the criminal justice system as a whole?
Jim Gamble, Deputy Director General of NCS (National Crime Squad), the principle SOCA unit, asked for data to be captured and stored by the industry, including every email, so the police could do the work, and go back in time. After all, that was one of the successes he claimed for Operation Ore, they could go way back to 1999.
What he didn't count on perhaps, was the wayback machine, silently recording a rather more accurate version of history. Very few people who had a knock at the door were expecting it. Whether they had Landslide on their credit card statements years before or not, they had no real reason to remember that name. In common with many scam sites, it didn't have a true home page at all. The click here banner was not on the Landslide server, so quite how this ended up on the police presentation to the press using a mock up of a Landslide AVS page remains unknown.
On the front page of the Times yesterday, it was reported that most of the public wanted the police to have more powers urgently. Already, vast numbers of lives were damaged, destroyed or obliterated with the unchecked powers available to the police. In Operation Ore, they conducted arbitrary arrests, convicted people, and persecuted them throughout and to this day, no matter they had not committed an offence.
If the government really wanted to protect this nation, it would re-instate the freedoms and justices so hard fought to achieve, add the checks and balances that ensure those who enforce the law operate within it, that the public are safe in their homes. When such values as freedom including freedom of speech, justice including the right to challenge injustice, security of person including protection from the state, you aren't actually defending anything. When we conduct ourselves honourably, treat people fairly at home and abroad, and tell the truth, perhaps we would have fewer enemies and our children a better future. There is no better society than a friendly one, the politics of hate, fear and lies, have destroyed the very things we should hold dearest of all.
Whatever bombs are dropped on the UK, no matter how appalling the atrocity, the survivors will pick themselves up, clean up and carry on. It doesn't need propaganda or lies, the British people are made of sterner stuff. The worst damage of all, is the damage we do to ourselves. As Clinton once said, you really conquer your enemy, when you make them a friend.
049 13/07/2005 update 2 An FOI (Freedom Of Information) response has been received from the National Crime Squad, the principle unit of SOCA, the UK's version of the FBI. Unlike MI5 and the FBI, this police unit does not disclose the location of headquarters.
The FOI was sent on 26/06/2005 and was received by the unit in question on 04/06/2005. For the benefit of overseas readers, the UK postal service would typically have delivered the letter the following day.
The attached letter states 'I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by the National Crime Squad'.
In the recent bombs that detonated in London, the figure of acute national importance and public interest, was the number of UK citizens that lost their lives. It is one of the figures of human interest, it also has potential implications for those who are paid to protect the public at large.
Two attempts have now been made to obtain the cost in human lives of Operation Ore. The National Crime Squad are responsible for co-ordinating this operation, and have indeed claimed it as their success. The response from the Service Authority can be viewed below.
050 14/07/2005 A sample of what the text of a Landslide transaction looked like on a credit card, though a range of charges were levied. What this means, despite the outlandish claims by Jim Gamble, deputy director of NCS, is that it was highly likely, your credit card was used on an adult site.

051 14/07/2005 update 2 Whilst news is breaking at this time in the United States, relating to the corrupt nature of such investigations, we have have now had a response to the crime reports in the hands of the service authority to the National Crime Squad.
Andrew Mulholland of the NCS service authority, has responded as follows:
It is appropriate to state at this time, that the reply is materially flawed, and further action and reporting is expected on these and other issues in progress elsewhere at this time.
Despite active attempts to challenge media exposures, the fraudulent nature of Operation Ore is a matter of public record. The evidence to support this assertion is overwhelming and no just court could reasonably be expected to find otherwise.
These matters have been referred to OBU, international monitoring stations and history shall record the truth of these unique events, especially in relation to criminal conduct by law enforcement and other agencies in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Canada, resulting in death and destruction to the public at large.
052 14/07/2005 update 3 Further communications have passed involving Andrew Mulholland of the NCS (National Crime Squad) service authority. Whilst the passage of these complaints and legitimate challenges elsewhere in relation to Operation Ore and operations predicated on this, have met challenge, hostility and indeed counter attack, Andrew Mulholland has expressed in his communications a professional engagement of the issues raised. We would go further, as he has also demonstrated ingredients of life so absent at this time; an interest in humanity and justice.
We have been advised that all communications have been formally passed to the IPCC relating to NCS and one crime report has been referred to the West Midlands Police.
We thank Andrew Mulholland, for providing an opportunity for due process, and for engaging the issues with integrity the likes of which has been wholly absent until this time.
The crime reports were prepared in great haste against the backdrop of hostile activity by agents of the state and their partners. Not only do the authors stand behind these reports, considerable further evidence is available and will be offered to a genuine investigation of the issues raised.
Attempts to bring these matters to the attention of the IPCC were previously obstructed by the IPCC themselves so the future is far from clear. However, events are unfolding elsewhere, and what is reported here is only a snapshot of what is happening at the current time.

Subsequent communications to the Service Authority have reversed these procedural obstructions, as not one, but all four criteria are met by the complainant in full.

Further evidence is available and would be presented in support of a genuine investigation into the issues raised. The urgency and serious nature of these allegations is already expressed in communications submitted to South Wales Police and the NCS service authority.
As the author of the crime reports, I am taking the earliest opportunity to contact you, to ensure you have my contact details that these matters can be progressed without delay.
The IPCC and the Service Authority have broadly the same accountability and reporting structure, i.e. the Home Office. The only accountability you can bank, is accountability to the public, the very issue that is under test at this time.
Unfortunately for South Wales Police, these were not simply complaints, they were crime reports, relating to crimes in which they were themselves implicated. The initial arrests, had credit card numbers, email addresses and a fistful of lies. Lies can kill, and they did, but PC Pro released an article, and overnight, the biggest lie, the principle lie on which Operation Ore was deployed, had been evidentially destroyed as a fraud.
Some of the messengers have come under attack, but in the scheme of things, it was too late for the perpetrators, as too much of the truth was out, too much was evidential and the legitimacy of Operation Ore was gone. The targets of the complaints had been caught red handed, in the crime of the century, a crime which had inflicted more casualty than the synchronised bombing campaign in London.
The politics of hate, fear and lies are now under challenge, and more challenge than is represented here. It must be remembered also, behind these crime reports lay thousands of others and they stood for not one, but every citizen of the United Kingdom, present and future.
Whilst the government urgently request more powers, knowing full well that this sponsors the very radicalism they claim to be seeking to address and that has now been evidenced on the streets, the police do not enjoy the same legal protection for what they say and do. They are legally accountable for their deeds and the consequences of them. Crimes have been evidenced, and reported.
054 16/07/2005 The Service Authority, who are effectively the employers of NCS (National Crime Squad) staff, are reconsidering the crime reports submitted as new information was supplied specifically relating to the submission criteria.
The number of people dead, is not an issue that is being pursued at this time. Two FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests were sent to NCS in this regard, but as detailed in these updates, no answers were forthcoming. NCIS, another SOCA unit, was responsible for processing the Landslide subscriber data, however, they are exempt from the FOIA.
Operation Ore has been harvesting the Landslide database for more than three years and it is still ongoing. Something quite unique the world over. During this time, many other operations have been launched, often without the names being released to the public. One notable exception perhaps was RegPay, an operation in which the FBI controlled the distribution of illicit imagery world wide for many months. They even sent out emails to UK citizens inviting them to RegPay, even with illegal imagery included. Unlike Landslide, RegPay had a large number of illicit sites hosted and linked, though a much smaller list of names was targeted by the police, though serious problems have been reported there as well.
It does appear that Operation Ore is now meeting its nemesis. Public disclosures included the removal of the very foundation on which Operation Ore was based, and evidentially so. The click here banner was Operation Ore, this is what killed people, this is what raised huge amounts of money, coerced guilty pleas, changed the law and so much more. In many instances, even without finding Landslide imagery, the allegation was that people had been to Landslide, that was enough, Landslide visitors must have seen this click here banner, they must be suspects, therefore the police could have reasonable suspicion and therefore grounds for arrest. Actually, that assertion on its own does not stand up to scrutiny at all. Any adult surfer in the UK could answer that one, and there are rather a lot of them, and you hardly have to be an adult surfer to see dodgy links.
The story gets worse, the location where the banner was supposed to have appeared, was way off the bottom of the page on an AVS part of Landslide, not the home page proclaimed at all. Worse still, that location used a server scripted banner rotation system, pulling banners automatically from outside, and the links could be submitted by any webmaster. There is no reason to assume the sites they related to had anything to do with Landslide, just part of the banner exchange system that so many adult webmasters used to generate site traffic. If you hit the page where that banner was claimed to be by the Americans Nelson and Mead, you would get one banner in the browser cache from a third party site, from the list of banners available, and unless you refreshed the page, one banner is all you would see. We have not been able to find a single Oree who saw it.
The story gets worse, in a video link to a UK courtroom, Mead changed his story. To the layman, that is a lie. So the American side of the evidence was discredited. Though again, from the start, to arrest someone for what banners or ads may or may not have been present is an unusual thing. The presentations of this banner, by the UK police to the media, as you can witness on this site in videos from the BBC from police control rooms, used manipulated evidence in a manipulated presentation as if everyone saw this banner and that is all they saw.
As it happens, the story gets worse. This banner was allegedly on the AVS payment system. The sites people were accused of being suspects for, related to a number of sites using the Keyz system which didn't have any banners at all on the Landslide pages. People were unlikely to have even noticed the Landslide name, they would only have arrived at a login screen, or credit card submission screen. So all the AVS evidence used in court, wasn't really relevant at all.
The story gets worse. The police were well aware of significant credit card fraud in relation to Landslide from the start. On one occasion, one subscriber tried to locate the source of the Landslide name to find out who it was that stole their money. Landslide.com was typed into the browser and no page displayed, quite common on fraud sites, as you can't easily complain unless you know who is responsible. Consequently, in the technical sense, there wasn't a home page at all, just landing zones from banner links outside, as you would expect of a site who's primary function was as a credit card clearance facility for webmasters.
The story gets worse. Sharon Girling OBE and Celt Limited collected what were presented as forensic archives of the computers at Landslide. It is appropriate to say allegedly, the chief technical officer was a Texas policeman who was subsequently asked to resign over corruption but went on to work for Microsoft and then for the Texas State Attorney. The pages collected presented a different story, and this information was sent round every police region in the UK. Yet the click here banner page and other AVS nonsense, was shown in police interviews and courtrooms as if it were evidence.
The story gets worse, Jim Gamble and others, were at pains to point out, people did not get on this site by accident. Landslide had a host of landing zones, an estimated 5,700 sites using its payment system, and countless sites linked to it. Getting to this site by accident is a strange thing to say, as this site doesn't really mean anything unless we are talking about an adult section of Landslide where a click here banner was allegedly seen once by US operatives, but one of them has already changed his story. As it happens, people did get jumped around sites, and sometimes they were prosecuted for the adverts that did that. It couldn't happen by accident? That is how most of the adult scam sites operate, and it could contaminate your computer with illicit imagery, the very thing that Stuart Hyde, the chief ACPO spokesman said on a national broadcast could not happen.
The story gets worse, because some defence experts and subsequently even Orees, went to a public web archive to have a look to see the page they were accused of looking at. As a read only archive, it was evidential, and it proved the evidence being used for press promotion, police interrogations and court evidence, went way further than gilding the lily.
It gets worse, a lot worse, but that is just part of the click here story. In America, the FBI don't actually care if you are innocent or guilty, they just say everyone is one click away from a bust. Amazingly it seems, the UK police went a step further, and you didn't have to click anything at all.
That is why, when PC Pro broke the ice, with a carefully researched exposure, despite the fact Operation Ore is still running, it would now appear every bust was a crime scene, every trial a crime scene, and as for that iceberg that John Carr refers to, it wasn't really an iceberg in the first place.
Two further damning exposures followed in the Sunday Times. The second Sunday Times release also carried an extract of a letter from one of the principle co-ordinators of Operation Ore, Jim Gamble, Deputy Director of the National Crime Squad, the headstone of SOCA. This is what he said. For NCS, NCIS and POLIT, it is perhaps business as usual, funding arriving from commercial partners, and a large advertising campaign promoting their world wide war on contentious age imagery, and other propaganda campaigns that you might have seen, using emotive and irrational terms like Internet abuse.

The battle for justice continues in the courtrooms and people are still being ripped out from their homes and their families assaulted, but after three very long years for some, longer than some survived to see, some truth is now out there.
Lies can kill, and in Operation Ore that is exactly what happened. That is one of the reasons this website is here, that long forgotten virtue; the truth.
055 18/07/2005 What has not happened following public exposures, what is being done to prevent further exposure and the fact that Operation Ore is continuing at this time, and on an evidentially fraudulent basis, all serves to provide an ongoing source of further evidence, available for use in both civil and criminal proceedings.
OBU are currently considering releasing some strategic evidence, which would add support to the crime reports submitted. It is unknown how and to whom disclosure will be made. At this time, the NCS service authority have not officially recorded the crime reports submitted and remain in authoritative control of their destiny, though they have advised that all relevant documentation has been forwarded to the IPCC (the police complaints commission). The IPCC has not even acknowledge an email pursuing these issues directly.
The Prime Minister of the UK has brought terrorism onto the streets of London, held the Muslims themselves responsible for resolving the very radicalism he has created, and now the same person is proposing making incitement to racial hatred an offence, the very offence it appears he has just committed. Sinister forces are at work in the UK as a whole.
As for the countless number of innocent people slaughtered, maimed and tortured by the so called war on terror, the Prime Minister has said he is not counting the victims.
In Operation Ore, an unknown number of innocent people have been tortured to death. NCS has formally and evidentially advised, they are not counting the dead.

I would reiterate that your statutory right, if you remain dissatisfied with the decision not to record the matters you have raised, is to register an appeal with the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
You state in your e-mail to me that "I have spoken to you on the phone, and you declined to answer any of my questions". I do not recall not responding to any of your questions. I explained when we would be responding to your communications and when we intended to do so. You received a communication within the given timeframe.
