Special Agent Frank Super - FBI
FBI Special Agent Frank Super was called by the defence at the Landslide trial.
Thomas Reedy asserts that he had contact with Frank Super in relation to two issues, firstly the investigation of a Sri Lankan official in 1998 who had a credit card transaction at Landslide and secondly following subscriber complaints to report websites containing underage imagery using the Landslide payment gateway. According to Thomas Reedy, Frank Super believed the transaction at Landslide in relation to the Sri Lankan official was made by his son and in relation to the illegal websites, Frank Super had advised that they were setting up a new web task force and that he would return when this was completed.
At the trial Frank Super testified that he investigated Landslide in 1997 in relation to a child pornography website called childgod or similar, meeting with employee Carol Clark. He described the building (at 201 Belknap Street, Fort Worth in Texas) in detail and that no one was there when he visited so he went to the bathroom and on leaving he met Ms Clark and a young man outside of the offices on the first floor and left his card there for the owner to call him back. After a series of missed calls over two weeks he spoke to Thomas Reedy about the website. Frank Super testified that he was a young agent fresh out of Quantico, and that he advised Thomas Reedy to report any such sites, particularly if they originated in the US.
Frank Super later discussed an investigation in August 1998 in relation to the Sri Lankan Chief of Police, who had a credit card transaction at Landslide. Frank Super testified he went back to Landslide and spoke with Carol Clark again when the transaction was confirmed and this too was followed up with a conversation with Thomas Reedy. Frank Super attributed the Landslide transaction to the son of the Chief of Police.
Offices described by Frank Super
The issue of supporting evidence in relation to the 1997 investigation by Frank Super was raised at the trial, but the FBI agent was unable to provide any documentation to evidence an investigation occurred in 1997. Frank Super testified that he thought his boss wrote the telephone complaint down on a routing slip. The defence for Thomas Reedy later referred to a conversation with Frank Super prior to the trial when Frank Super indicated he might have made some notes on the routing slip or something of that form. Frank Super responded that he had done a very extensive search of his files, including a trip to the Dallas field office where such crimes are recorded and spending a whole day looking and enquiring at every location where such evidence would be stored, but no evidence could be found.

Sri Lankan official
The Sri Lankan official referred to by FBI Special Agent Frank Super was not the Chief of Police as asserted, rather it was Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister for Posts and Communications.
1997 meeting with Carol Clark
Employment records at Landslide indicate Carol Clark started employment with Landslide on 16th June 1998 and analysis of the accounts show payments relating to this office at a similar time, corroborating what Thomas Reedy alleged, that Landslide had not rented the office until mid 1998.
Indonesian website called childgod
The Landslide links table indicated the childgod website appeared on the system 14th April 1999 at 09:46 am. Landslide accounts dated the first charge being recorded on 30th April 1999.

(The webmaster and this specific site were evidentially implicated in credit card fraud actioned through a number of methods, however these were was an implementation of the standard scam, a credit card owner is charged by deception / stolen identity and incriminated through the use of extreme / illegal material to mitigate complaint thus perpetuating the scam. For example, users were being redirected to sign up to this site from elsewhere only to have their computer contaminated with illegal material. It is a matter of record that law enforcement were involved with the host and webmaster for this site while this was occurring.)
Summary
Statements made by FBI Special Agent Frank Super under oath imputed facts which are refuted by the available evidence. The evidence indicates that the investigation in 1997 by Frank Super, corroborated by prosecuting attorney Terri Moore in court and to the media was a fabrication.
Two webmasters were indicted secretly under seal, which includes the webmaster of the site that Frank Super refers to. Three webmasters were publicly indicted along with Landslide Inc, Thomas Reedy and Janice Reedy.
The assertion that Thomas Reedy had reported illegal sites to Frank Super remains unproven, though it is corroborated by available evidence.
A communication on the 7th of August 1998 to the the Sri Lanka CID, stated in relation to Landslide:
Our records have no adverse information regarding Landslide Productions or Thomas Reedy.
Terri Moore corroborated Frank Super's testimony repeatedly both in court and to the media, both as prosecuting attorney and as a politician, having done so to international media as recently as 2006 when no supporting evidence was available and such evidence that was available proved that this story could not have been true.
